“The Geissens Experience a Bloody Disaster at Their St. Tropez Oktoberfest Party”

It’s Oktoberfest time in St Tropez. Robert Geiss does not let himself be denied the honor of tapping the barrel himself. But that goes terribly wrong. The millionaire hurts himself and the blood and beer flow.

Traditional Oktoberfest feeling and that in the middle of St. Tropez: In the current double episode of “The Geissens – A Terribly Glamorous Family” (Mondays, 8:15 p.m., RTLZWEI), Robert, Carmen, Davina and Shania are looking forward to their big theme party your own villa. Beer, pretzels and blood

A not entirely unimportant detail: Brez’n must be served at the Oktoberfest. But: The long-ordered large delivery for the Geissens is a long time coming: “Oktoberfest without pretzels, that’s not possible,” groans Carmen, “with all the waiting, we could have baked them ourselves,” explains the 57-year-old annoyed . But just before the first guests arrive, the Brez’n supplier finally comes ashore – now the party can finally start.

Of course, Robert Geiss wants to tap the first beer keg himself. He doesn’t have any experience with it, but “The Man” is sure he’ll shine anyway. Under the curious eyes of the guests and his wife Carmen, who films with her cell phone, he gets to work. The 59-year-old tries to anchor the tap in the beer keg with several powerful blows – but no matter how hard he hits, his plan fails.

While the good beer is already pouring over the floor, Robert hits him again and again. At some point this cock has to stop! After what feels like an eternity and with professional assistance, he can finally utter the long-awaited words: O’zapft is!

After the first toast, “The Man” admits that he “has a completely different problem”: Blood is dripping from his hand. His fingers got hurt when he was pricked too hard: “That was too tasty, shit happens,” Robert says. Carmen rushes to help him: “Do we have to sew? I’ll get some alcohol to disinfect!” she says excitedly.

But Robert doesn’t want to wait that long. Among the guests is a doctor who quickly puts on a bandage. Now Robert can toast with the others without danger. Shania, who followed the whole action live, feels sorry for her father who had an accident, but not only: “It was a bit embarrassing now,” she says.

Sudden harmony among the Geissens

But the later the evening, the more exuberant the guests, especially Davina. The 19-year-old is so high-spirited that she pushes one of her friends into the pool – in full gear. She finds it less funny and seeks revenge. Shania can prevent worse with an objection.

Then one of Carmen’s friends even voluntarily jumps into the refreshing water at a late hour. The hosts are extremely happy: “If Carmen’s friends are already jumping into the pool, then the party can’t get any better,” says Robert and grins.

When his wife starts singing the TV title song “Jet Set” herself, the atmosphere at Geiss’ Oktoberfest has reached its peak. Even the daughters, who are otherwise so critical, are very enthusiastic. Who would have thought? Even with the Geissens there is sometimes pure harmony, thanks to the Oktoberfest.
