Application Whatsapp mostly developed by third parties. Unlike the original version, Whatsapp these third-party versions usually provide more diverse features.
One of them is Whatsapp GB. Similar but not the same, WhatsApp GB is developed by a third party without the permission of its official developer, WhatsApp Inc. This means that this is an unofficial and original application from WhatsApp.
Whatsapp GB, among others, offers features to send scheduled messages, delete messages that have been sent, turn off internet connections, to eliminate online status.

To use WhatsApp GB, you cannot download it on the Play Store or App Store.
Although it promises a lot of features, Whatsapp GB has the potential to be dangerous for its users.
There are at least five dangers that lurk if you use WhatsApp GB or modified instant messages.
First, the modified application does not use encrypted data so that it is vulnerable to leaking to third parties which can pose a threat to user privacy.
In addition, WhatsApp GB also cannot update like official WhatsApp. Users have to go to links that are likely to contain malware to update the app.
Another danger that lurks WA GB users is the risk of being blocked because the company WhatsAPP Inc. will take firm action against fraudulent application users by blocking accounts, ranging from temporary to permanent.
Whatsapp CEO Will Cathcart has reminded users not to use modified applications (MOD) or third parties because of the risk of malicious programs or malware. This third-party application will also be the target of blocking.
“A reminder to @WhatsApp users that downloading fake or modified versions of WhatsApp is not a good idea,” said Catchcart in a thread on his personal Twitter account, Tuesday (12/7).
According to him, the MOD version of WhatsApp does sound harmless, but it can risk violating privacy and security guarantees.
In addition, WhatsApp claims that it will continue to detect and block applications such as WhatsApp GB in the future.
“We will of course continue our efforts to detect and block these kinds of apps in the future,” he said.
