The gauge lowered to 75% in nightclubs and concert halls in the North

If you’ve heard of the news, you yourselves know: the incidence rate (the number of Covid cases per 100,000 inhabitants) has risen to around the alert threshold of 50 in the North. The prefecture has therefore decided on a series of measures to counter this return of the epidemic.

For a few months now, nightclubs and local concert halls have been breathing: no limitation, no specific rules on the gauge, just a good old check of the sanitary pass at the entrance and the usual barrier measures. Except that the epidemic is quietly on the rise in the department, as everywhere in France. So much so that the alert threshold set at 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants has been greatly exceeded: these days it is rather around 65.7.

The prefect of the North has therefore taken measures to stop this restart of the epidemic. A good part concerns schools, but one decision particularly concerns revelers of all kinds: the gauge of 75% filling is restored for clubs and concert halls and pestacle.

This decision will be applicable from November 8, for an indefinite period of time. Chances are they will be canceled when we drop below the alert threshold.
