The National Hockey League is currently missing Johnny Gaudreau for the start of the 2024-2025 season.
The Gaudreaus are honored throughout the NHL, from players like Cole Caufield and Sean Monahan to entire organizations and cities.
Moreover, the Calgary Flames and the entire city of Calgary wanted to honor Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew last night during their opening game.
It was of course a truly moving and emotional moment, especially for the family of the deceased.
Moreover, before the Flames’ opening game, the Gaudreau family took the time to publish a touching and poignant video message to thank the Flames organization, the city of Calgary, as well as all the fans.
The Gaudreau parents and sisters took the time to thank everyone in Calgary for their gratitude, prayers and gifts, among other things.
They are grateful and humbled by all the support and love they have received over the past few weeks.
Calgary was obviously a very important city in the Gaudreaus’ lives, as Johnny was drafted by the Flames and played nine seasons there before signing with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
