The first publishers have announced that they will be attending gamescom 2021 this year. Xbox, Ubisoft, EA and SEGA are some of the biggest names, but there are many more. It is striking that Nintendo and Sony are missing from the list, but they may be added at a later time.

The full list of publishers to date can be found below:

  • Astragon Entertainment

  • Koch Media
  • Next Studios (Tencent Games)
  • Sega Europe
  • Team17
  • Thunderful Games
  • Ubisoft
  • Wargaming
  • Xbox

However, the event is not over yet. Indies are of course also present. For example, 80 indie games will be shown at the Indie Arena Booth Online. The full line-up will be announced at the end of July.

The gamescom 2021 lineup isn’t ready yet nog

This year, gamescom will take place from August 25-27. As in 2020, the event will be held completely digitally. Initially, the idea was to keep part physical, but that turned out to be unfeasible due to the coronavirus and the many variants that have surfaced in the past year. For now, it remains to be seen who else joins the list of publishers.
