The Game Awards 2021 will be held on Thursday December 9th and after more than a year of only digital events, this show will be able to receive visitors.
Although it will be an event with an audience at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, you will also be able to follow the evening via a live stream, completely free. The show promises “an evening filled with world premieres and new game announcements, as well as performances, including those from The Game Awards orchestra, live on stage at the Microsoft Theater.”
The event can only be attended by invited guests and the nominees will be announced in the coming weeks.
“We are thrilled to return to the Microsoft Theater for a special evening celebrating the past, present and future of video games,” said organizer and host Geoff Keighley in a press release. “We want to bring the entire community together to celebrate the most powerful form of entertainment in the world, and recognize the important voices for the future of the medium.”
The previous edition of The Game Awards was dominated by The Last of Us Part 2, which managed to win some awards. In addition, Hades, Ghost of Tsushima and No Man’s Sky also won.
