While phones from the series Samsung Galaxy S21 as soon as they have settled on the shelves of shops, in their home South Korea, they are allegedly already working diligently on successors. At least that’s what the sources of the SamMobile server, which published the code names of the future flagships of the Korean giant, suggest.
The basic model Galaxy S22 is to bear the designation SM-S901x, Galaxy S22 + was given the code SM-S906x and the most equipped model Ultra will be known as SM-S908x. The watchful eye has certainly revealed that Samsung has made one change in its labeling – while previous flagship models have been listed with the letter G since the Galaxy S5 smartphone (SM-G900x), future models will boast the letter S.
The change is supposed to be purely pragmatic, as Samsung has simply run out of numbers. Instead of naming the next generation SM-G10000x, he decided to choose a new letter, which he has taken care of again for the next ten years. We don’t know much about the phones themselves, but there is speculation about deployment 65W charging and in the case of the Ultra o camera with a resolution of 200 Mpx with Olympus hallmark.
