The CISSSMO presented a first elaborate model of the future Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital. We learn that its design will be composed of three pavilions.
These units will be arranged perpendicular to Boulevard Cité-des-Jeunes. All to ensure a human, efficient, intuitive and simplified organization of care and services, indicates the health organization. The hospital will be integrated into its environment while green spaces will be integrated into it.
Description of the pavilions
Pavilion A, on four levels, will include the main ambulatory functions, the auditorium, reception facilities, the cafeteria and the laboratories.
The central pavilion will present in particular the emergency room, the operating room, critical care and medical imaging. Various care units are added to these three levels.
The last pavilion will consist of the Mother-Child Center and its various components, as well as mental health and brief intervention services.
The project
Planning follows a continuous improvement approach. The CISSSMO thus indicates that field experts, professionals from various disciplines, doctors, employees and resource users are involved.
We apply the principle of Building data modeling in order to design and manage the digital model of the future Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital.
Remember that the project is valued at $ 1.7 billion. It will include 404 beds, an emergency room with 41 stretchers and 11 surgery rooms.
The performance quote is about to be submitted.
As for its construction, it is envisaged that it will be completed in 2026.
