The Regional Health Agency visited the site this Friday, March 5 and gave the green light for further preparations. The opening of the center is expected at the end of March
While additional weekend slots will open from this Saturday, March 6, the future vaccination center in Seignanx is on track.
The Regional Health Agency (ARS) visited this Friday March 5 the Gaston-Larrieu space in Saint-Martin-de-Seignanx, with four rooms, and found “the place very adequate”. The process is therefore now underway and a new meeting is scheduled for elected officials on Monday, March 8, in order to establish the precise timetable for the coming weeks.
Help the most isolated
In particular to detail precisely all the organization and storage device (pharmacies should be requested) and to list the people to be vaccinated as a priority in the territory, via doctors and the municipal and inter-municipal social action centers (CCAS and CIAS ).
Some municipalities are also considering requisitioning their minibuses, little used by associations or sports clubs in these times of Covid, to transport the most isolated people.
By the time everything is set up, the center should not open before Monday, March 22.
