KYIV. July 2nd UNN. Advisor to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak on the air of a nationwide telethon told what, in his opinion, awaits the “Wagnerites” after an unsuccessful rebellion, reports UNN.
Details
Podolyak is sure that the Wagner pvk will not exist in the same form as it has been over the past decade, and the Wagnerites themselves will be divided into four groups.
Quote
“Before July 1, Prigozhin will probably take the rest of his resources from St. Petersburg and Moscow and finally move to Minsk,” Podolyak said.
Addition
The company itself, according to the adviser, will be divided into four parts:
Some of the “Wagnerites” will switch to a contract with the Ministry of Defense and will fight against Ukraine, but already within the framework of other PMCs or within the framework of the Ministry of Defense. We are talking about a third of the total number of “Wagners”. Another third of the “Wagnerites” will sign a contract with the head of the National Guard, Zolotov. The third part will return to Africa, where they control a number of assets and try to keep business assets. These are Libya, Syria, Central African Republic, Mali, Chad. The fourth small part will remain in Minsk and will be engaged in the training of the Belarusian special forces as such. But this is a fairly small part of the “Wagnerites”, because Lukashenka is afraid of any internal rebellions.
Recall that the appearance of the Wagnerites in Belarus became known after the rebellion of Prigogine in Russia. According to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War, Wagner fighters are likely to operate from three large field camps in Belarus.
