The Future of Earth: Predicted Formation of Pangea Ultima and its Catastrophic Effects

Earth is predicted to add new continents in the future. According to research by the University of Bristol in England, a “super continent” will form and could destroy all living things on earth.

The super continent referred to is the combination of the five continents in the world that currently exist, namely Asia, Africa, Europe, America and Australia, thus forming one vast continent. The largest continent from this merger is called Pangea Ultima, which is estimated to have formed in around 250 million years.

Experts believe that the disaster that will hit the earth will occur as a result of the formation of the Pangea Ultima continent. It is predicted that there will be 3 bad impacts as a result. Through the release quoted from CNN InternationalAlexander Farnsworth as senior researcher and lead author of the paper from the University of Bristol revealed, “The newly emerging supercontinent will effectively create three adverse impacts consisting of the continental effect, solar heat and more CO2 in the atmosphere.”
