It is not excluded that the user will also see advertisements that correspond to previously viewed, searched content, interests, etc. activities in the app.

It is noted that clicking on the sponsored content will not stop the search and the user will be able to continue scrolling through the search results. There is expected to be a lot of interest from advertisers as this feature is automatically enabled for existing TikTok advertisers. It should be noted here that ads have been appearing in TikTok’s regular feed between videos for some time now.
