Christophe Galtier would have made a decision about the club he would join after LOSC.
After leading Lille to the roof of France, Christophe Galtier has resolved to take up a new challenge. Believing that he stayed too long in one place, the new champion coach of France chose to move. And, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, he would have even already made his choice concerning the club with which he was going to sign. It would be OGC Nice.
Galtier reportedly opted for the Gym when he also had proposals from Lyon and Naples. On the Allianz Riviera side, he would replace Adrian Ursea, who has just landed from his post.
Galtier has a crush on the OGCN
Nice finished 9th in the last Ligue 1 standings but he does not consider an engagement with this club as a step backwards at all. He even made it clear in an interview with The team : “Since my name has been circulating in Nice, I have listened to the reactions of people around me. Even my relatives make remarks to me like: “Oh well, would you be ready to go to Nice? But why don’t you go elsewhere? »Me, it does not appeal to me to hear all this because the human relationship is very important. And then there is what we can do together. And I think that in Nice there are the conditions to be efficient. To grow up and get more important things ”.
In the south of France, Galtier would have the assurance of finding Julien Fournier, with whom he was able to work in the past. IHe is also very confident about the ability of this club to aim for the Ligue 1 podium in the future. : “Nice will always have competition from Marseille, Lyon, Lille and Monaco. But I think that with the current structure of Nice, there is a way to compete with the clubs I just mentioned (…) There are the projects that we are putting in place and there is the reality of the moment T. You can be late or upset. Will Nice one day be able to compete with Paris? I think Nice, like the clubs I mentioned, can fight for the podium every year ”.
