On November 4, information about the burial of Elżbieta Zającówna appeared on ZASP’s social media. Although the actress lived in Warsaw, Kraków was her hometown and that’s where she was born. Therefore, the funeral ceremonies were spread over two days and two important cities for the actress.
“The funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 12:00 at the Church of Creative Communities in Warsaw at Teatralny Square 18. The actress will rest on November 7 at 1:40 p.m. at the Grębałów Cemetery in Krakow (ul. Karola Darwina 1)” – it was written.
Who came to the funeral of Elżbieta Zającówna
On November 6, the actress’s closest relatives and friends gathered at the Church of Creative Communities in Warsaw. They appeared, among others: Katarzyna Buttowt, Bogna Sworowska, Jerzy Kryszak, Daria Widawska and Małgorzata Potocka.
The funeral mass began at 12. It was led by priest Grzegorz Michalczyk. – We say goodbye to a good, beautiful and sensitive man – he said at the beginning of the service. – God will now embrace Mrs. Elżbieta with his love forever – he added.
