The late director Ali Abdel-Khaleq researched at the Larger Institute of Cinema, Department of Route, and after graduating from the institute in 1966, he labored for a when as an assistant and then devoted himself to directing documentaries, a single of the most famous of these movies are his documentary film “Farewell Tune”, which has won various global awards at documentary movie festivals. And the shorter films, which include the 2nd prize of the Leipzig Movie Festival in Germany, and his movie “Suez is My City” received the first prize of the 1st Documentary Film Pageant of the Ministry of Lifestyle in 1970.
