The functionality of 1 WhatsApp account for 4 smartphones can be tested simultaneously

Previously, WhatsApp also introduced the Community feature to its messaging service, having previously been revealed earlier this year.

Through this new WhatsApp feature, users easily manage all related groups and create sub-groups for various topics.

Communities like neighbors and colleagues at work can now link multiple groups together under one umbrella to manage group conversations on WhatsApp.

Once logged into the community, users can easily switch between groups to get the information they need, when they need it.

Group admins can also post updated information or update important to everyone in the community.

The company points out that chats on the WhatsApp community still have functionality end-to-end encryption which is already in the Meta of the application.

“There have been 12 communities in Indonesia that have had the opportunity to try out the Community feature earlier in the past few months,” Esther Samboh, WhatsApp Public Policy Manager for Indonesia, said in a statement.

Some of these communities include Jump Delicious, a community of famous cooking enthusiasts, and Play:On Indonesia Community, a community of Mini 4WD enthusiasts.
