The full specs of the Samsung Galaxy S23+ smartphone have surfaced online, thanks to a trusted tip. Samsung is said to be preparing to unveil the Galaxy S23 series as early as next year.
The word on the street is that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S23 series in February 2023. However, the exact launch date is still a mystery.
However, we are not too far from the launch date of the much talked about Galaxy S23 series. The Korean tech giant may launch the flagship phone in the US in the first week of February.
The Galaxy S23 lineup will reportedly consist of the vanilla Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. According to a new report, neither the Galaxy S23 nor the Galaxy S23+ will have a cooling system.
This could be part of Samsung’s cost-cutting measures. The Galaxy S23+ will sit between the basic and Ultra models. Now the full specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S23+ smartphone have been revealed.
Samsung Galaxy S23+ full specifications
The Galaxy S23+ will succeed the Galaxy S22+, which went official in India earlier this year. The phone will likely bring minor updates over its predecessor.
Prominent leaker Yogesh Brar has shared the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S23+ which confirms it features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display. Also, it is suggested that the screen will support Full HD+ resolution.
Notably, the Galaxy S23+ retains the size and screen resolution of the outgoing model. Additionally, Brar hints that the phone will support a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will likely include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
The Galaxy S23 series will reportedly use a specially modified SoC to improve performance. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23+ will ship with at least 8GB of RAM and offer 128GB/256GB of internal storage.
It’s also unclear whether Samsung will launch the Galaxy S23+ with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Brar also shared details about the phone’s camera setup.
First, the Galaxy S23+ will have a 50MP main camera sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 10MP telephoto lens on the back. Up front, the phone will have a 12MP camera for taking selfies.
According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S23 will be able to record 8K video at 30fps. The Plus model will run on Android 13 OS with One UI 5 on top.
Other than that, the flagship will be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, according to a report from Alibaba price. The Plus will also have an under-display fingerprint scanner. Other notable features include satellite connectivity, UWB support, wireless charging, and stereo speakers.
