The representative of the Fuel Distributors Syndicate, Fadi Abu Shakra, warned of the “gravity of the situation and its impact on citizens” and considered that “the insane rise in the dollar exchange rate, which exceeded forty thousand, has imposed the issuing a new program for fuel prices. ”There is no doubt that the increase in fuel prices will negatively affect the citizen, who is no longer able to bear the living and financial burdens that have exhausted him in the light of the decline in his purchasing power amid successive crises that render him unable to secure his livelihood, such as bread, medicine, shelter, education, and other life issues.
