The Head of the Parliamentary Group of New Ideas, Christian Guevara, announced that the new Legislature will continue to support the Executive in its fight against evaders, corrupt people and gang members.
After the first plenary session, held this May 1, the legislator highlighted that the current Legislative Assembly will have a similar participation to that of the previous one, ensuring the supreme good of Salvadorans in terms of security.
“The frontal fight against evaders, corrupt people and gang members continues and this Legislative Assembly will have a transcendental role in the same way as we did in our first legislature,” he reiterated.
As a second line of work, Congress and especially the parliamentarians of Nuevas Ideas, will focus on supporting all the initiatives proposed by the Government of President Nayib Bukele, to improve the economy and social well-being of the population.
Likewise, he emphasized that, just as the previous Legislature provided the necessary governance to President Bukele to combat crime generated by gangs, in this new period the second miracle will be achieved to achieve peace and prosperity for Salvadoran families.
