A 19-year-old boy who died after a race and a chase in the nearby village of Krushare is being sent to Sliven today. The perpetrator is in custody, but relatives want to detain the other participants in the incident.
The tragedy breaks the love between the deceased Peter and his girlfriend Vanessa. They met two years ago and are inseparable until the fatal November 21.
“The most caring person I’ve ever known. He always thought about me, not to go out without him, not to let something happen to me,” she told BTV.
Vanessa goes out with friends and meets Hussein in the restaurant, who teases her. Affected, Peter goes to the village of Krushare to talk to him, but Hussein and his relatives greet them with weapons. After a race, the father’s and son’s car hit a tree. Peter dies, leaving Vanesa with memories and pain.
“Vanessa is written on his hand, Peter is written in Arabic on mine, we wrote 16.2 on the other, because we were both born at 16,” she added.
She did the last tattoo herself.
“Well, angel wings, date 21 and below, ‘you’ll be in my heart forever,'” Vanessa said.
After sending Peter on his last journey, relatives and friends gather to protest.
“We want to detain Hussein’s accomplices, they were two more. From now on, we have only one fight left – for justice and for real, effective sentences, “said Vanessa’s mother Svetla Bashalova.
