The French’s Top 5 Preferred High-Tech Brands

No apple on the French menu when it comes to high-tech. Indeed, Apple does not appear in the top 5 favorite high-tech brands of the French according to the study carried out by OpinionWay for the favorite brand of the French. What a top 5, 20 Minutes reveals it to you exclusively: Samsung comes first, the Korean brand is also the first non-food brand in the top 30 favorite brands of the French. Philips takes second place in this top 5, followed by Microsoft, HP and Sony.

The favorite brand of the French notes “a significant increase in high-tech pro brands which reflects the need for the French to be well equipped with the standardization of teleworking”. The three high-tech brands that have made the most progress this year are: Lenovo, Brother and HP.

Respondents were presented with a list of brands with their logo and they answered 2 questions:

– Which of these brands do you like? (1 answer among 4 possible: I like/I don’t like/Neither one nor the other/I don’t know).

– How would you qualify these brands? (1 to 7 answers among: is a useful brand, committed, trustworthy, close to me, accessible, quality, innovative, none of these qualifiers)

Trends and growth compared to the 2022 Observatory conducted in March 2022 by OpinionWay on 1,300 brands from a representative sample of 4,900 French respondents aged 18 and over.
