The French police are continuing a well-established tradition by renewing their cooperation with the Alpine brand, which belongs to the Renault portfolio. Years ago, the local gendarmes used the original Alpine A110, for example, between 1966 and 1973. Among other things, the highway police still use the Renault Megane RS.

The new patrol cars in the hands of the French police have a standard supercharged four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1.8 liters with an output of 249 horsepower, which can accelerate the car from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds. The maximum car travels up to 250 km / h. Among other things, Alpine confirmed that in 2025 the A110 models would be replaced by their electric successors.
