Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The French national team achieved a wide victory over the Gibraltar national team, with 14 goals to none, in a confrontation that was held at the Al Awal Stadium, on Saturday evening, as part of the qualifying competitions for the European Nations Cup 2024.
Kylian Mbappe (hat-trick), Kingsley Coman (double), Olivier Giroud (double), Adrien Rabiot, Ousmane Dembélé, Marcus Thuram, Youssef Fofana, Jonathan Klaus, and Warren Zaire Emery took turns scoring the goals for the “Roosters” team, and with an error by the opposing defender.
This victory is the largest for the French national team in its history, and one of the biggest results in the qualifying rounds for the Euro finals.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappé, the Rooster national team striker, reached the 300th goal since the start of his football career, after scoring a hat-trick against the Gibraltar national team.
It is noteworthy that the French national team has guaranteed its qualification for the European Nations Cup scheduled to be held in Germany next year, after occupying the top spot in Group Two with 21 points.
