the Freepack Spirit prize for Parisians, Angoulême on the podium

The student prize was won by three students from the Parisian Autograf school. Two projects from the Angoulême Higher Institute of Packaging Engineering complete the list

PAs the “junior” of the Spiripack-Crédit Agricole unveiled on Tuesday evening, the Freepack Spirit, open to students in design schools, packaging design, graphic arts, visual communication and fine arts, was awarded on Thursday.

A prize that aims to promote training in these disciplines and highlight the creativity and work of students. This year, 53 files were in the running, concerning 126 students from 14 training courses. It is up to them to design packaging that can be reused.

A collective success

At this little game, it is a trio of Parisian students (Wissam Mazraani, Patrick Atrach and Javiera Gacitua) in Master Management Design and Sustainable Innovation at the Autograf school (design and applied arts) who won the prize with the project “Host”. It consists of creating a box, in poplar, of a bottle of cognac that can be reused as a birdhouse. “It is a project which won the unanimity of the jury, simple but perfectly responding to the theme, we fell in love”, indicated Cédric Pichonneau, president of this jury.

Second and third place are taken over by the projects of students from the Higher Institute of Packaging Engineering (EICNAM) in Angoulême. Respectively, “Euflorie” (Marion Sablé, Morgane Sanchez, Apoline Lucak) who imagined a bottle of gin that can turn into a terrarium surrounded by a cardboard shell seeded to sow once the bottle is finished; and “Tikku” (Laura Clément, Choé Lange, Charline Olanier) who have declined Mölkky’s game in skittles which contain cocktails to be tasted before being able to play.

The young ladies were in heaven even if the first prize escaped them. “The main thing was that the two selected projects were rewarded. It’s also a reward for the investment of the whole class, we really helped each other ”, they said. With the welcome help of Jérôme Fruchard and Sandrine Juton, the two teachers of the Cognac training FS Pack.
