On the menu for this Monday: freezing atmosphere and gray skies for most of us. The week, meanwhile, promises to be cold before the arrival of a disturbed northwesterly flow at the end of the week which will bring rain and less cold temperatures.
Monday morning, the sky will be overcast over the entire region. Snow will come to sprinkle Limousin and overflow on Poitou. Beware of slippery roads on country roads!
We are expecting a breakthrough of the sun over the east of the Dordogne at the end of the morning which will last all afternoon, sometimes overflowing into the bordering departments.
Still under the influence of a North to North-East flow, Monday will be cold. Everywhere, the frosts will be severe with the exception, no doubt, of the Charente coast.
The mercury will have a hard time rising during the day. The maximum will be stationary and even decreasing over the south of the region.
We will keep the same type of weather until Thursday since a new deterioration will affect the region from the North-West. We could have light snow showers in the plain and in particular in the Landes. The following days will be gray and rainy but Sunday will announce a rise in the mercury during the day under a trolling sky.
