The founder of Los Embajadores Vallenatos, famous for ‘El santo cachón’, dies

Ramiro Colmenares’ relatives confirmed the artist’s death from Bucaramanga during a tour in Paraguay. The artist was found dead in his room. Apparently from heart failure. Colmenares was 65 years old. He was recognized as one of the best accordionists of the Vallenato folklore. Furthermore, the ‘Cachaco’, as he was nicknamed, was the founder of the Embajadores Vallenatos, famous for their greatest success: ‘El santo cachón’. (Keep reading…)
