Canceled in 2020, then postponed to spring 2021, the Foulées de la Cathédrale will take place in Chartres on Saturday, October 16. After more than two years of absence, it is an emblematic event of Eure-et-Loir which will return for its 26th edition. An event that has enjoyed growing success every year for more than 20 years, all the more so since it was coupled with the Pink Strides, a charity race of which 7 euros per registration are donated to the fight against breast cancer.
Together, these races attracted more than 6,000 participants during the last edition in 2019. For this new edition, it is already more than 1,000 impatient people who have pre-registered online, but the organizers expect many more people in the races. days to come.
Small novelty this year with a change of route. But the new route retains the fundamentals of the historic route: the Butte des Charbonniers, the banks of the Eure and above all the mythical coast towards the cathedral!
