Prague (VNA) – The forum “Vietnam Young Initiatives in Europe” was held virtually on June 12, with the participation of Vietnamese students from all over Europe.
The event also marked the start of the “Vietnamese Youth Initiatives in Europe” – Innocity 2021 competition for young vietnamese in the country and abroad, which is jointly organized by the associations of Vietnamese students in Europe and the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals (Global Vietnamese Young Scholars Association – Global VYSA) under the auspices of the Union of Associations of Vietnamese Science and Technology Association, the Vietnamese Association of Software and Computer Services and the Union of Vietnamese in Europe.
The Innocity 2021 program aims to explore the potential of Vietnamese youth by Europe in the search for valid and applicable initiatives and solutions to develop smart cities and urban areas in Vietnam.
Discussions at the event focused on the current state of Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem, the role of Vietnamese youth in innovation and creativity, and support to Vietnamese in the country and to the foreigner in the country’s innovation. -VNA
