At 6:27 this morning (24th), at the bus stop opposite the North Point Center Building, No. 288 King’s Road, Fortress Hill, a passerby found a wounded wild boar about 1 meter long lying on the site and he called the police for help. The boar was wounded in all four limbs and was struggling on the ground. Police officers held up long shields, surrounded the scene and alerted the Animal Protection Association and the Department of Fisheries and Conservation to assist on site. However, the boar was seriously injured and died before AFCD personnel arrived at the scene. The remains were seized by AFCD agents.
According to on-site news, a resident found a wild boar roaming the parking lot on the third floor of the Shangji Building in the early hours of this morning, and then informed the security guards, but the security guards went up to the floor of above to inspect and no trace of the boar. At the time of the accident, someone heard a loud noise and found a wounded boar at the bus stop: initially it is not excluded that the boar was suspected of being frightened and running wildly, falling from the building and injuring itself.
