Former Metalist and Shakhtar midfielder Tyson gave an interview to the Brazilian press, in which he shared the details of his departure from the local Internacional.
According to Tyson, the Internacional players have not received money for exercising their marketing rights for three months. This led to a walkout when the players missed one of the morning workouts. As a result, the management held a press conference in which they announced that Tyson was the leader of the “rebellion”, and the president of Internacional Alessandro Barcellos did not defend the player.
“They dumped everything on me. There were 33 players in the locker room and they all said they wouldn’t practice, but it was all blamed on Tyson. The President did not have the courage to say at the press conference that this was not the case. The management set me up. Everything felt like I did.
I don’t want to see the president of the Internazionale anymore. I had a good salary, a good contract at Shakhtar and he called me every day to come back. As a result, I terminated the contract in Ukraine, I lost a lot of money coming here, and it all ended with such an attitude towards me, ”the Brazilian said.
