Former Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of State Assets, Jacek Sasin, attacked Jacek Krawiec, former president of Orlen, on the social networking site X (formerly Twitter).
“The tailor, who is calling the loudest today about alleged irregularities in companies, manually lowered prices at Orlen stations. Just to do good to Tusk before elections 2011. And he did it to the detriment of Orlen’s results and despite calls for the company’s managers to abandon this policy. The hypocrisy of these people is impossible,” Sasin wrote.
Jacek Krawiec did not leave the former deputy prime minister’s entries unanswered. He informed him to take “adequate legal steps”.
However, he added that this is “an attempt to blur the responsibility for Orlen’s multi-billion losses as a result of artificially lowering fuel prices before the 2023 elections.”
