At the time, the Prosecutor’s Office asked for an insurance measure against Pinto, who is accused of conspiracy to commit a crime, a contract without compliance with legal requirements, embezzlement for appropriation, undue interest in concluding contracts, falsehood in a private document and ideological falsehood in a public document .

The events are related to two contracts, one dated August 6, 2010 and the other dated March 10, 2011, which were intended to ‘paving various roads in Albania, La Guajira‘to generate employment in the municipality.

The sum of the two contracts was 12,590 million pesos, of which, the FIscalía said, 5,981 million pesos were appropriated and were not invested in the works.
