STARANZANO. He had the courage to open a gym and challenge a still uncertain future in the midst of a pandemic for various activities, including gyms, which were stopped due to the health emergency.
The story of Eros Comisso, 29, begins above all for his great passion in sport having an important curriculum behind him as a former athlete of Timavo and of the Kayak Canoa Monfalcone Company (Skcm) and vice European champion in 2009 and Italian champion of fast canoeing. in 2011 and some participations in world tournaments, to go against the tide animated by a strong passion for sport.
The newly completed gym is called “North East Crossfit”, brand new of 760 square meters, between inside and outside, starting with the changing rooms and showers up to the training area and individual and group activities, agonists and community area. All ready to use.
The plant was built in via Grazia Deledda 11 / A in the industrial area. Stefano Carlino (vice president) Roberto Soriani (secretary) are also responsible for this work adventure. The physical discipline includes free body exercises, barbells, ropes, rings, bicycles, rowing machines and weights according to the possibilities and age.
“I know that the moment is difficult and complicated for us – says Comisso – and many say” who made you do it “, but we don’t have to stop for this, we want to show that we are stronger than the pandemic and we send a message of hope to all. We have invested a lot and we are sure that the future will prove us right, because sooner or later this story will have to end and we can work. In fact, the area lacks a structure with so much potential ».
“If at the moment we cannot use the interiors due to Covid, patience – says Comisso – there is no problem since most of the exercises can be done with” outdoor “lessons, that is outdoors, but hoping for good weather and absence of rain as activities are allowed in the regions in the yellow zone and people are physically well spaced from each other. I am optimistic and hopefully expects March 5 and that the new rules will make us start well, but always in safety and in compliance with the regulations ».
Meanwhile, this week the training will be available inside only for “agonists”. Then there are already 30 members.
According to Comisso the “Crossfit” was born as a healthy exercise for your body and “calabile” in the sense that both a beginner and an expert can work together. Only the intensity in doing training changes depending on the workload depending on the weight of your body and for this reason it involves a very wide range of people and is studied on the person. «In this work we transfer all our passion – says Comisso – and with the arrival of spring we will encourage group lessons outside with the coach who will teach the correct movements to perform. We are therefore ready to leave and like many others we are waiting to get out of this bad situation as soon as possible ».
