In 1965, the school drama “Trains go past the windows” was released on Soviet screens. The future “elusive” played the pupils of the boarding school. However, according to many viewers, this film is simply contraindicated for children.
The plot tells about a new teacher who enters a boarding school. She tries to clean up the classroom and finds rather controversial ways to solve the problems of the charges. Because of this, the teacher faces the resentment of more experienced colleagues.
The tape did not gain much success with the audience. It was rarely shown on TV for several reasons. Firstly, the film has a rather sad ending, and this is better for children not to see. Secondly, Lev Krugly, who left the USSR and went to France, starred in the film. His emigration could have done the film a disservice. It is strange that the censorship generally missed the tape for display.
