Nice, Cannes, Grasse and Menton will experience varied weather conditions this week, marked by widespread instability and unseasonably mild temperatures, according to Météo France.
The week will begin with stormy showers, especially active on Tuesday, in the Alpes-Maritimes, notably in Nice and Cannes, where the sky will remain heavy with clouds and intermittent rain. Precipitation is forecast in the morning and afternoon, with a risk of localized thunderstorms which will persist until Wednesday on this part of the coast. Temperatures will remain mild despite the clouds, around 17 to 20°C during the day.
On Wednesday, the situation will improve with the return of nice clear periods, especially in inland areas like Grasse. However, Menton and the coastal towns should still experience some cloudy periods and a risk of light showers.
At the end of the week, the expected anticyclone will stabilize the climate: the sun will predominate on Thursday and Friday, while the thermometer will remain between 15 and 18°C.
This weekend, a return of rain is possible, but the forecast remains uncertain for this period. In summary, an alternation between clouds, showers and sunny spells will punctuate the week, with ideal conditions to enjoy calm and sunny weather mid-week.
