The Ford Mustang Mach-E failed the moose test, passing only 68 km / h

The new electric Ford Mustang Mach-E has so far earned relatively positive reviews, with test drivers and journalists appreciating its agility and sporty driving style. Now, unfortunately, a relatively tangible blow is coming to the reputation of electrical news.

A video has appeared on the Internet, which shows that the model literally failed in the so-called lottery test, which assesses the dexterity and ability of prompt driving. The Teknikens Värld website, which regularly deals with lottery tests, stated that the car managed it at a maximum speed of only 68 km / h.

According to the website, the poor evaluation is mainly due to the lousy calibration of the electronic vehicle stabilization system, which will allow the back to open too much. The jokes that mach-e is a real mustang therefore have a real basis in addition to a free field of action. They refer to countless videos in which honest gasoline mustangs leave car rallies under full throttle and, due to the inexperience of their drivers, end up in a ditch at best, at worse in a crowd of spectators.

As the video shows, in the same test, on the other hand, other electric cars, led by the Tesla Model Y and Hyundai Ioniq 5, performed well. The results for these electric cars and Ford are diametrically opposed. Model Y passed the test at a speed of 75 km / h and Ioniq 5 at a speed of 72 km / h. It is not known whether all the cars had the tires on which they are delivered as new to customers, but we consider it probable.
