Julien Chauvenet (director of Foodies) wins the title of burger champion this Friday!
Spread the word: the king of the burger is in Dijon! During Sirha 2023 in Lyon, a trade show dedicated to catering professionals, the boss of Foodies became this Friday, January 20, champion of the burger. Julien Chauvenet and his entire team therefore won first place in the World Burger Contest at the SIRHA 2023 edition.

The reason for this consecration: audacious but tasty recipes, which caught the eye (and the palate) of the jury composed of Meilleurs Ouvriers de France.
For the traditional burger : a burger with Charolais meat raised in Côte-d’Or accompanied by a blackcurrant sauce. Julien Chauvenet also has the audacity to combine sweetbreads with Morteau sausage. For the veggie burger : lentils grown in our department, prepared like falafel accompanied by a sheep’s cheese sauce. Finally, for dessert : a pear in wine combined with blackcurrant.
Julien Chauvenet therefore wins several awards : the favorite prize, the prize for the best traditional burger, the prize for the best vegetable burger… as well as the gold medal of the competition.
