Al-Marsad newspaper: The Food and Drug Authority commented on what was circulated on the presence of adulterated honey in the markets, underlining that what was published on some social networks is nothing more than false rumors.
The authority added, in a tweet via its official “Twitter” account, in response to the question of whether there is adulterated honey in the markets.
The authority replied: “Greetings, the authority is following up on honey products and factories in the kingdom, and if you notice a violation, you can report through the authority’s official channels by calling the unified call center” 19999 ” or via the “Tamni” app for smart devices.
The authority also responded by saying, “All imported and local food products are subject to the authority’s requirements and the authority also checks all imported food before and during their arrival in the Kingdom, to ensure their safety and approved standard specifications. ”
