The font in Final Fantasy remasters gets criticism – is not exactly pixel perfect

At the same time, the first trilogy gets a July date.

Final Fantasy Pixel RemasterThe series finally seems to get the pixels in order. Unfortunately, the font is another five.

The new trailer reveals that the first three games (out of six) will be released via Steam, Ios and Android on July 28. In the film, we also get a closer look at the font and it has, unlike the games, left the pixels behind. The criticism has already begun to fill in The Youtube movie and via other social media. Some are hesitant, others hate the font. The podcast profile Heather Anne Campbell clearly belongs to the latter: “The ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in a game, the worst of all time!”.

July 28 is released Final Fantasy I, II and III for PC and mobile formats. The first two cost around SEK 120 each. The third? Just over 150 bucks – which the four, five and six will also do. You can buy them all in one package for around SEK 800.

Potentially, these are price tags that will also receive some criticism …
