The signing of the Deed of Merger was carried out by the President Director of Pelindo I Prasetyo, the President Director of Pelindo II, Arif Suhartono, the President Director of Pelindo III, Boy Robyanto, and the Director of Pelindo IV, Prasetyadi. The signing was witnessed online by Deputy Minister II of BUMN, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo.
Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had signed Government Regulation Number 101 of 2021 concerning the Merger. The Presidential Decree is officially the legal umbrella.
“This is an important and historic moment for the management of port SOEs, this merger is an important step in increasing value creation for Port SOEs. This initiative has the aim of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of national ports,” said Deputy Minister II of BUMN, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, Friday (1/10/2021).
Tiko as Kartika is familiarly called, assesses that in the future the benefits of this merger can be realized immediately. After this, Pelindo can focus so that the four subholdings under Pelindo can be immediately effective and operated optimally.
