The foldable Asus Zenbook 17 Fold Oled is released in Sweden

At the IFA trade show in Berlin in September, Asus showed off a new hybrid laptop with a foldable screen. The Zenbook 17 Fold has a large 17.3-inch OLED screen that can be folded all the way to close and protect the screen, or in half to form two smaller 12.5-inch screens.

In addition to being foldable, the screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels, covers 100 percent dci-p3 (Pantone verified) and supports Dolby Vision. Harman Kardon’s sound system also supports Dolby Atmos. It is powered by 12th generation Intel processor with Iris Xe graphics (any option from AMD or Nvidia is not available).

Now Asus is releasing the computer in Sweden, via Dustin, Inet and Webhallen resellers, as well as its own online store. The MSRP is SEK 45,000, so it’s not exactly a cheap story, but the computer should be in stores on December 21st, so anyone looking for a truly luxurious Christmas gift has a chance.
