Epic Games made an important announcement yesterday for the competitive Fortnite scene as the FNCS Invitational 2022 will be played live November 12-13 in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States of America.

With the COVID-19 epidemic affecting the world for more than two years now, Epic Games, like many esports game publishers, had to revise its plans for its competitive scene, in particular taking the decision to cancel the world championships and play its main FNCS tournaments online. While the situation is gradually trying to return to normal, the American studio announced yesterday the return of Fortnite events in person; Epic Games invites us to meet on November 12 and 13 in Raleigh (North Carolina), United States of America, for the FNCS Invitational 2022. The studio warns, however, that if the health situation or regional laws and recommendations change during the year, they might decide to postpone the event or revise the plans.

Epic Games will select from the best FNCS duos from around the world to decide which ones will be invited to compete in single lobbies for a chance to win a portion of the $1 million prize up for grabs. Information on the FNCS Invitational 2022 will be released in the coming months.
