The migration wave out of Oslo is more than a bluff. The most recent relocation figures are also at a record high. After years of growth, the population in Oslo is declining.

9591 people moved out of Oslo in the second quarter of this year. This is the highest registered figure for this quarter and shows that the relocation trend is more than a fluke.

How many people have chosen to leave Oslo is a topic that has received a lot of attention over the past year. Last year – especially towards the end of the year – emigration from the capital reached new heights.

Although also record numbers moved inn last year, ended net loss of 1808 people. This is the highest figure in 20 years.
