The Florida Man is a series of Netflix created and directed by Donald Todd and starring Edgar Ramirez y Lee Abbeyis a drama in the world of gangsters full of entanglements.
An “American” thriller (Florida version, the country is very large and diverse) that leaves us with the best and the least good of the entertainment industry: the system knows how to create a great production without risking the least.
Without being incredible, it has all the elements of an eighties thriller, one of those that didn’t go down in history or was intended to, but that gave us so many good moments.
About the Series
A film that does not want to stand out and that, full of desire to achieve cinematographically, is born with no flavor to stand out, but as a perfect television product in which good professionals get, without too much effort, “another day at the office”. .
A Man from Florida tastes like a “serial” series, a series of those that you get up to drink a whiskey (with an e) and, deep down, you haven’t lost much of the plot.
Easy, quick to consume and short-term memory, a quick date to make us a little more bearable this spring that, for the moment, doesn’t seem very exciting on the cinematographic front, at least until Wednesday.
Nothing to object to the simplicity of its arguments, but don’t expect critics to celebrate it as the new Citizen Kane the Netflix.
The second season of The Sandman is coming.
