The 61st edition of the Florencio Awards for Uruguayan theater had the first of two ceremonies this Sunday. The Zitarrosa room was the setting for the statuettes to be delivered to the works aimed at children and adolescents, led by Valeria Maraffi and Sebastián Bandera. The jury was made up of María Rosa Carbajal, Diego Fachelli and Gustavo Habiaga, and in addition to the traditional categories, Cantacuentos and Títeres Cachiporra were honored.
The second installment, which will also be broadcast on Channel 5, will take place on Monday, December 4 at the Solís theater.
