Escape EF, suspect cases of fraud and harassment at Soekarno-Hatta Airport ended already. The medical officer during the rapid test was arrested in Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra.
Kasat Reskrim at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police AKP Alexander Yurikho explained that the suspect was arrested after the police asked for information from the university, where EF studied medicine. EF is a Medical degree at a private university in North Sumatra.
As is known, this case went viral on social media after the LHI victim told the incident on his Twitter account. In short, the victim was about to travel to Nias on Sunday (13/9).
The victim is asked to undergo a rapid test. The victim was initially convinced that the rapid test results would be inactive because he was sure he had never been in a community exposed to Corona.
However, when the rapid test results came out, he was declared Corona reactive. This is where the victim admits to being extorted on the pretext that the rapid test data can be replaced for aviation purposes.
Long story short, LHI admits that they are still being forced to do another rapid test by paying Rp 150 thousand. He was finally taken to a quiet place and asked to give an additional Rp. 1.4 million.
The police then moved quickly to investigate. From the results of the investigation, the police then obtained information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts. The suspect was finally arrested in Toba Samosir, North Sumatra, on Friday (25/9) in the morning.
