The fair of art contemporary ARROW, from March 4 to April 4 at the Arturo Soria Plaza Shopping Center de Madrid, will bring together around 500 works by more than 50 artists of different nationalities and techniques (painting, engraving, drawing, sculpture, photography and digital productions) in more than 2,000 square meters. To celebrate its 30th edition, a selection of prints from the four major series will also be exhibited. Francisco de Goya made in the 19th century (Whims, Disasters of war, Bullfighting Y Disparates).
The Fair for the Liberation of Commercial Spaces Towards Art (ARROW) was created in 1991 in Madrid by a collective of artists who wanted to change the concept and the public’s relationship with art. Among them was its current director, José Luis Aguirre, who had actively contributed to the cultural effervescence of the Madrid scene. Since then it has been held every year with the aim of democratizing art. In addition, he gives the Flechazo Awards to two participating artists. This year, despite the pandemic, the fair can be held with all security measures thanks to the characteristics of the Arturo Soria Plaza Shopping Center.
This is our selection of the works that we will be able to see at the fair.
