Texts in French, chiselled. An accordion, a guitar and a voice that tears when the revolt comes. SisHarò has found a very personal signature that forces us to read between the lines.
It was in June 2020 on our show “L’été des artistes” that the duo was revealed to the public for the first time. SisHarò is the new project of François Santin, the charismatic singer from Bourseigne-Neuve, accompanied by the accordionist from Winenne Marie-Laure Bray.
In SisHarò, we find the voice and pen of François Santin who had made the heyday of “Adrenaline Superclub”, a group that has since been dissolved. His texts in French remain imbued with poetry and revolt, but the rock soul of the singer is this time softened by the more folky notes of Marie-Laure’s accordion. The alchemy was already working well at the beginning, it was further refined over time and work.
In his very own writing, François tells us about his muse in the eyes turquoise greens to make the atolls jealous, of an old hoodlum who lived well, left too quickly. Or of a girl in confinement, a charming epicurean artist who ends up losing her footing so bored to death. Or of those who go through all the dangers for a better life. Simpler, fairer, freer. Behind his rugby player build and his piercing gaze, that’s what the poet tells us between the lines…
