Renowned architects or young engineers with unbridled creativity, all have agreed to open their boxes and their hard drives. To share low or high-tech, reasonable or even futuristic projects, in short, to make us dream a little!
AU-DELA YOUR DESIGN The appeal of this dinghy, which is available in a version for individuals and a version for clubs, is the calculation approach and the related construction process which are innovative, even potentially revolutionary. The idea is to build in composite, but without molds and without consumables.
The boat is made from biocomposite panels, either 3D printed or flat-laminated, which are glued to an aluminum framework. This structure is calculated by new generation algorithms using topological calculation, whose logic is subtractive and not additive… There it gets quite technical, but we will remember that the resulting structure is theoretically lighter for the same robustness and perfectly adapted to the idea principal of Thibault Lecarpentier and Corentin Le Roy. The two young engineers and naval architects, partners in the studio Bull’s eye, have designed a whole range of sailboats that respond to this new design. Exciting !
