Thus, the provinces of León Zamora, Lugo and Ourense will be at risk for snowfalls while the provinces of Toledo, Ávila, Amora, Salamanca, Cáceres, Ourense, Pontevedra and A Coruña will remain on alert for rains.

On the other hand, the Aemet has activated warnings for coastal phenomena in a large part of Andalusia and Murcia, specifically in the provinces of Almería, Cádiz, Granada, Málaga and Murcia, while in the north the provinces of A Coruña and Pontevedra.

Regarding wind warnings, which will affect most of the peninsular territory, the Aemet has activated the orange alert (significant risk) for the provinces of Asturias, A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra, Cáceres, Badajoz, Navarra, Zamora , Salamanca, Palencia, León, Burgos, Ávila, Toledo, Guadalajara, Cantabria and Huesca.

Similarly, the provinces of Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Jaén, Málaga, Seville, Huesca, Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Segovia, Soria, Valladolid, Lleida, Ceuta, Madrid, La Rioja will also remain on alert for wind. , Álava and Murcia.

In addition, an Atlantic front will cross the Peninsula from west to east, with widespread rainfall on the Atlantic slope, which could be accompanied by occasional storms, spreading to the rest of the Peninsula in the afternoon, being less likely in the Mediterranean area and not expected in the extreme southeast of the peninsula or in the Balearic Islands.

These precipitations will be locally strong and persistent in the southwest of Galicia, the west of the Central System and, with less probability, in the rest of Galicia, extreme west of Castilla y León, the rest of the Central System and Extremadura, northern Andalusia, mountains from Cádiz and the Pyrenees of Huesca. In the Canary Islands, slightly cloudy skies will predominate.

The snow level will be at the beginning of the day above 1,600 meters in the northwest, dropping throughout the day to 1,100 to 1,300 meters. In the rest of the Peninsula, it will be above 2000 meters, dropping from the afternoon until 1300 to 1600 meters in the rest of the northwest half of the peninsula.

Regarding temperatures, Aemet foresees an increase in daytime temperatures in the northeast of the peninsula, while they will decrease in the western third.

The wind will blow from the south and southwest in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, strong on the coast of Galicia, and with strong intervals and very strong gusts in most of the Cantabrian and Atlantic slopes, the Pyrenees and the peninsular southeast coast, especially in high areas .
